The original and rare Samphire. Aromatic. Same family as carrot and parsley, and tastes similar. Tastes completely different to Marsh Samphire and is completely unrelated.
Strong until cooked. Use to garnish salads or add to dishes like stir fries, omelettes, quiches, pasta, lamb or fish.
Serve as a side vegetable cooked in butter, seasoned with black pepper and lemon juice.
